Marios: 1-3

Here's the very first of the new paintings for the upcoming I Am 8 Bit show.

I am doing a total of 9 Marios all together all based on his various pallettes in the games.

I am also trying a new approach to the paintings, What do you think? Old pantings more or the newer "poppier" style?

love them all! SMB3 stand out the best. i would've partial to SMB2 if that was shown just because that was the first game i played at your house so long ago when we were fab. (sorry, been getting sentimental for the late 80s.) give wishes of good luck to all involved for saturday w/ el tigre!

You do have one of the coolest looking Marios out there! I'd have to say the old style is my fav.

Great pieces! Love your take on Mario. The SMB3 colors are my fav of the bunch. So, no more Mega Man pieces for this show? Loved the ones you did last year.

Thank you for all the positive feedback. I think this style is here to stay a little while...

I hope EVERYONE and their Moms watch El Tigre EVERY week to keep it on the air and me gainfully employed!
